Body Shame

Body Shame.

Feeling shame about a certain body part.

Feeling like your body doesn’t look like it “should” so you cover it up

or look at it with disgust

or diet and exercise it into submission.

This makes my heart hurt on a soul level.

In this post - we are going talk openly about Body Shame against the framework of vulnerability and shame researcher Brene Brown and her TED Talk on Listening to Shame.
